This role sits within the International Regulatory Reporting Crew, where we design and deliver technology solutions that ensure the Bank meets regulatory reporting obligations across international jurisdictions. As a Senior Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of the Bank’s AxiomSL RegCloud (SaaS) platform, supporting Amsterdam and European regulatory reporting. You’ll act as a senior technical contributor and subject matter expert, working closely with stakeholders across Finance, Risk, Technology, Product, and external partners to develop and implement the Axiom delivery roadmap and strategy
We’re interested in hearing from people who can
Design, develop, test, and deploy robust Axiom solutions aligned to regulatory reporting obligations
Manage Axiom change delivery plans, ensuring high‑quality, well‑governed outcomes
Deeply utilise AxiomSL components, including:
Controller View
Data Models & Data Dictionaries
Aggregations & Reporting
Deliver regulatory change across Statistical, Capital, and Liquidity reporting domains
Lead code reviews, promote engineering best practices, and drive automation across:
Releases
Testing
Data processing workflows
Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Finance, Risk, and NASDAQ to translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions
Diagnose complex technical issues, troubleshoot production incidents, and provide SME support for:
Audits
End‑to‑end regulatory assessments
Regulatory change implementation
Contribute to continuous improvement of the Axiom platform, including release management, environment configuration, and governance
Technical Skills
We’re interested in hearing from experienced engineers who bring:
5+ years’ experience as an Axiom engineer or SME in regulatory reporting, including Axiom SL RegCloud (SaaS)
Strong expertise across Axiom components:
Controller View
Data Models & Data Dictionaries
Aggregations
Taxonomies & Reporting
Proven experience with European regulatory frameworks, including:
DNB, ECB, EBA
COREP, FINREP, LCR, NSFR, AE, LR, ALMM
Deep knowledge of Axiom product configuration, release management, environments, and governance
Strong data modelling and mapping skills (e.g. ETL, SQL)
Experience automating build, deployment, and data processing workflows
Hands‑on experience working in Agile environments, with solid understanding of:
SDLC
DevOps
CI/CD practices
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and stakeholder communication skills
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline
