Join the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD) as an Application Developer (Information Systems Specialist 6) in the Data Management and Production Services (DMAPS) section. In this role, you will build and support modern applications, tools, and workflows that make DLCD’s land use and spatial data easier to access, understand, and apply. You’ll work across databases, GIS platforms, and web technologies to create intuitive user experiences while maintaining the reliability and security of the systems behind them. This position also plays a key role in DLCD’s data governance efforts by supporting metadata, data catalogs, documentation, and application modernization. Your work will help ensure that staff, partners, and the public can interact with DLCD’s data in ways that are accurate, efficient, and aligned with long‑term agency needs.

Minimum Qualifications
Five (5) years of professional experience in: Data engineering, database management, ETL processes, data integration, and data governance
OR
An Associate’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Geographic Information Systems, or related field, OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in data engineering or a related field; AND three (3) years of professional experience in: Data engineering, database management, ETL processes, data integration, and data governance.
OR
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Geographic Information Systems, or related field; AND one (1) years of professional experience in: Application development, data engineering, database management, ETL processes, data integration, and data governance.
