Leverage all technology offerings to expand the scope of technology work at the account (up-sell/cross-sell). Summary: As a SaaS Technical Lead, for Oracle Fusion applications, guiding functional teams on technical design and issue resolution. Your typical day involves integrating technology contracts and engagements, leveraging various technology offerings to enhance the scope of work, and collaborating with diverse teams to create a comprehensive technology account plan. You will engage with stakeholders to maximize opportunities and ensure the successful execution of technology projects, fostering strong relationships and driving client satisfaction. Roles & Responsibilities: Act as a SaaS Technical Lead for Oracle Fusion applications, guiding functional teams on technical design and issue resolution. Provide hands-on expertise in Fusion SaaS technical extensions and configurations, with strong focus on Application Composer, Groovy scripting, and SaaS personalization. Design, develop, and troubleshoot SaaS-based extensions including validations, triggers, workflows, and UI customizations. Lead debugging and root-cause analysis for complex Fusion SaaS technical issues across Finance, SCM, and HCM modules. Provide technical oversight and guidance on Fusion VBCS (SaaS extension framework) for lightweight UI extensions and custom pages. Ensure extension-first approach, avoiding unnecessary PaaS or custom development. Collaborate with functional leads to translate business requirements into SaaS-native technical solutions. Provide architectural guidance on when to use SaaS configuration vs SaaS extension vs PaaS (OIC/VBCS). Support OIC integrations as needed, but primary focus remains on SaaS technical design. Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle including design, build, testing, and post-go-live support. Review and enforce Oracle SaaS best practices, upgrade-safe design, and extensibility guidelines. Mentor team members and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions on Fusion SaaS technical capabilities. Produce clear technical documentation including extension designs, Groovy logic, and configuration notes. Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion SaaS Technical Framework, including: o Application Composer ,Groovy Scripting, Page & Field Personalization and Object workflows, validations, and triggers Experience with Fusion VBCS (SaaS Extensions) for custom UI and lightweight applications. Good understanding of Fusion security model (roles, privileges, duty roles) as it relates to SaaS extensions. Solid understanding of Fusion data model and business objects. Working knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for inbound and outbound integrations. Experience with REST/SOAP APIs exposed by Fusion SaaS. Knowledge of BI Publisher and OTBI is an added advantage. Strong understanding of SaaS vs PaaS decision principles and upgrade-safe extensibility. Professional Attributes Strong leadership capability to guide functional and technical teams. Ability to debug and resolve issues directly within Fusion SaaS rather than deferring to infra or PaaS teams. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proactive, ownership-driven mindset with strong attention to quality. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable working in large, complex enterprise transformation programs. Years of Experience Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience. Extensive experience in Oracle Fusion SaaS implementations, with deep technical exposure.
