Job Description

Responsible for the organization and flow of departmental and product data. Ensures data integrity, accuracy, completeness and timeliness. Ensures data is entered into hosting systems in accordance with maintenance schedule and policies. Serves as premier source for accurate, timely, relevant, and actionable information and analysis to affect operational decisions and process improvements.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Whole Foods Market merchandising processes to effectively support the space and floor planning process.

  • Learn all basic functions and administrative functions of creating, maintaining and publishing floor plans and merchandising fixtures in designated floor planning software and support Team Members as needed.

  • Support Merchandising Presentation issue resolution and triage to ensure accuracy and alignment between floor plans and planograms.

  • Actively participate in the development of best practices to improve team efficiencies related to tools and systems used.

  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing for floor planning software, including enhancements and new functionality.

  • Provide necessary education, training and support to users of floor planning tools.

  • Ensures adherence to Whole Foods Market Leadership Principles, Core Values, policies, and guidelines.

  • Supports team projects and performs other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Self-directed, organized, and detail-oriented work habits.

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and Word.

  • Excellent communication including written, verbal, and listening skills. 

  • Excellent visual, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. 

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Intellectual curiosity. 

Desired Work Experiences

  • Experience in space planning, floor planning, field retail, merchandising, or related role (1-3 years).

  • Preferred bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience.
