What You Will Do:

The responsibilities of the Operations Analyst will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Performing residential mortgage pre-funding quality control (QC) reviews of areas such as:
    • AUS data integrity and reconciling liabilities
    • Employment, including VVOE
    • SSN check
    • Assets
    • Appraisal
    • Income calculation
    • Mortgage insurance (MI) coverage.
  • Performing residential mortgage post-closing QC reviews of areas such as:
    • Employment/Income recalculation
    • Verification of bank statements and/or other income
    • Verification of assets
    • Credit and DTI
    • AUS data integrity review
    • Occupancy check
    • Credit and compliance closing documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with underwriting and eligibility requirements.
  • Reporting on sampling, findings, and outcomes/resolution.
  • Executing and delivering high quality work product, functioning both independently and in a collaborative setting with a focus on client satisfaction.  
  • Learning client procedures, systems, and processes and adhering to client requirements.


What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university and a minimum of 2 years relevant experience (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree).
  • 2+ years of experience in the mortgage or loan industry. 
  • Knowledge of mortgage Federal and State regulations (e.g. TILA, RESPA, ECOA, HMDA, Privacy, etc.).
  • Familiarity of agency guidelines (e.g. Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Federal Housing Administration (FHA), and Veterans Administration (VA)).
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Suite Products.
  • Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively manage a high-volume workload to meet project deadlines and quality metrics.
  • A demonstrable willingness to work more than 40 hours when needed.
