Essential Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)
- Clinical Instructor Pre/Post-doctoral academia
- Lectures/Didactic Instructions
- Laboratory Exercise Instructions
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, experience in educating pre and post-doctoral education. The applicant should have experience in working with a diverse student and patient population, working with patients of all ages, be proficient in diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Responsibilities include serving as a pre-doctoral and post-doctoral faculty member, didactic and clinical teaching, assisting with the management of the pre and post-doctoral curriculum and strategic planning activities.
- Additional responsibilities may include engagement in research opportunities, mentoring, and evaluation of outcomes assessment. Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of evidence based therapy, current trends/ technologies and concepts used in the clinical area of instructions.
Education and Experience:
- Credentials needed for the position include a DDS or DMD.
- Licensed to practice in the State of Tennessee or eligible for licensure in the State of Tennessee.
