The Boeing Company is looking for a Senior Procedure Coordinator - 747 to join our Flight Technical and Safety team in Seattle, WA.  The Flight Technical and Safety team provides flight operations, safety and technical support to Boeing internal and external customers.  This role will provide information and specialized technical services to company and customer flight crews to enhance flight operations efficiency and safety.

Procedure Coordinators work with cross-functional teams during aircraft development and sustainment to ensure aircrew are able to safely handle normal and non-normal aircraft operations.  They research, edit and coordinate publication of procedures and techniques for operating Boeing airplanes.  They may be called on to represent Boeing with regulatory agencies and at worldwide safety and flight operational forums.  In addition, may support sales campaigns by discussing and demonstrating aircraft systems and new flight technology.  Although not a flying position, Procedure Coordinators require significant aviation experience since they serve as consultants to management and other industry professionals

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide flight operations, safety and technical support to Boeing internal and external customers at multiple levels

  • Work with the Technical Pilots and other Procedure Coordinators in the 747 group

  • Support new aircraft and system development and certification efforts

  • Develop and validate procedures and operating techniques and assisting other Procedures Coordinators with cross-model procedures

  • Provide information and specialized technical services to Company and customer flight crews to enhance flight operations efficiency

  • Research, edit, document and coordinate publication of procedures, checklists, bulletins and techniques for operating Boeing aircraft

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Experience authoring flight crew operational guidance documents

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with Adobe Framemaker or similar professional publishing software

  • Experience working in the aviation industry

  • Bachelor Degree or Higher, or an appropriate combination of relevant skills and experience

Summary Pay Range: $119,850 – $162,150
