Trellix is seeking sales interns for Summer 2025 to join our team of cybersecurity professionals. The Trellix Internship Program is designed to educate and develop the next generation of cybersecurity talent while supporting key functions and initiatives within the organization. About the Role

The Sales Intern will receive mentoring and guidance by sales leaders, and the opportunity to evaluate their own skills. The role provides the opportunity to develop foundational knowledge in various processes and systems. The intern is expected to apply academic learning and previous work knowledge to business practices through project-based contributions aligned with needs of the organization.

This opportunity will build knowledge of cybersecurity products and services while developing technical, professional, administrative and business acumen, communication skills, and internal and external networks.  Some of the activities you will do:

  • Research accounts to identify potential sales leads

  • Create prospecting lists with contact information, including phone numbers and emails

  • Qualify leads and schedule appointments for sales representatives

  • Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) software

  • Assist with the development and implementation of sales strategies

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

About You

  • Recent college graduate or early-career professional with a background in Sales/ Cybersecurity or related fields.

  • Previous experience managing projects is also preferred

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills needed to contribute within a team-oriented environment

  • Strong detail orientation and follow-through skills, with an analytical mindset

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong organization and project management skills

  • Desire to learn, develop skillsets, and be mentored

Base Pay Range: $25 - 35/hour. Actual base pay within this range will depend on varying circumstances, including the work location, individual qualifications, company budget and other operational business needs.
