Join the TransPerfect Health family as a PRN Occupational Therapist at Town Square Sandy Springs, an innovative adult day center offering an immersive experience for older adults. Currently, we are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) that has 8 - 10 hours of availability weekly on Tuesday or Thursday, and Wednesday. Hours for treatment are 8:30am - 4:00pm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct screenings, evaluations, assessments, and treatments in accordance with state practice acts, the established plan of care, and company policies.
  • Help optimize functional independence, self-care, and quality of life for older adult participants.
  • Complete all required clinical documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in orientation, staff meetings, and required in-service education.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Rehabilitation to develop and enhance therapy programming (full-time positions).
  • Provide clinical supervision to Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as appropriate.
  • Follow all infection control procedures and applicable resident rights guidelines.
  • Demonstrate sound clinical judgment and effectively prioritize participant care.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations.
  • Perform duties that may involve moderate to heavy physical activity.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Georgia, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Foreign-trained candidates must have their degree evaluated as equivalent to U.S. entry-level Occupational Therapy education by an AOTA-approved credentialing agency.
