Job Description

Director, US Facility Operations

Qualifications and experience:

  • Business / Engineering degree preferred

  • Experience in managing remote teams

  • Experience in Project Management

  • Experience in Facility management / Facility Operations

  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams

  • Strong safety implementation practices

Job Description:

Successful candidate will oversee multiple US office locations and staffing, drive OPEX and capital budget creation and performance, source, acquire, and manage US real estate, lead office construction projects and office relocations / closures, provide reporting and communications to executive members, and lead cross-functional and remote teams.   

Scope:

Strategy:

>Develop roadmaps for US offices and real estate
>Execute Corporate strategic plans for Facility Operations

>Financial & Real Estate long-term forecasting

>Headcount and Organization Structure development

>Develop and maintain key partnerships and collaborations
 

Financial Management:
>Create budgets (both capex & expense) and handle all aspects of planning and budget control
>Works with Finance team to track and manage budget performance
>Provide reporting & KPIs to management
>Asset & capital management

>Manage project costs and performance
 Operations Management:

>Maintain a culture of safe work practices at US locations.
>Oversee multiple office locations, working with local teams, to maximize user experience.
>Project management and oversite of all activity, including facility systems, office remodels, upgrades, new office construction and decommissioning, and office operations.

>Work with outside Engineering, Design, and Construction firms to complete projects.
>Ensures full compliance with Federal, State, City regulatory agencies
>Manage site security, badge access & camera monitoring.
>Strong collaboration and alignment with EHS, HR, IT/IP, FIN, LEG.

>Select General Contractors, vendors, and suppliers for various projects around the US.

>Create Policies and Procedures for US Office Standards.

>Lease management and oversight
 

Team Management:
>Manage local and remote workforce around the US

>Drive employee acquisition and retention through office management practices

> Create and implement strong employee engagement practices

Education:

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and 10 years of related experience.

  • Requires 5 years of leadership experience

Physical Requirements:

Job duties may be performed in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places. Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds may be required. May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing and use of PPE. Occasional overnight travel to TEL factory, training facilities and customer locations may be required.
