We are seeking an experienced and passionate sales professional with in-depth knowledge of the thoroughbred and trotting racing industry to join our highly professional team dedicated to equine insurance.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Broker Equine Insurance, with in-depth knowledge of the thoroughbred and trotting racing industry to join our highly professional team dedicated to equine insurance.

Based out of our office in Pierrefitte-en-Auge, Normandy, you will engage with brokers and clients in the region.
 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Representing the company at races, sales, and other events in France and across Europe
  • Managing and developing a portfolio of existing and potential clients within the equine insurance sector, particularly in the thoroughbred and trotting industries
  • Promoting our services and offers within the horse racing industry
  • Assessing clients’ needs and proposing tailored insurance solutions
  • Handling and resolving sensitive or complex claims and insurance contract matters
  • Negotiating with insurers and clients to obtain the best possible terms and solutions
  • Ensuring regular and rigorous follow-up of client files.

Our must-haves:

  • In-depth knowledge of the thoroughbred and trotting industry is essential
  • Significant experience in insurance brokerage, ideally in the equine sector
  • Fluent in written and spoken French and English
  • Proven ability to solve complex problems and handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, communication, and negotiation abilities
  • Basic accounting knowledge an advantage
  • Team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel frequently in France and abroad
  • Availability to work weekends and public holidays according to the racing and sales calendar
  • The legal right to live and work in France
