Job Summary
The Human Resources Representative supports various human resources functions by providing front line response and consultation to associates and management in the areas of recruitment and selection, contract labor, performance management, benefits, leave of absence, credential tracking, policy interpretation and procedures, personnel actions, identification of appropriate resources, and other areas within the HR department. Coordinates the completion of departmental projects and initiatives as identified by HR Leadership. Provides excellent service to internal and external customers.Pay Range
Minimum $24.96 Midpoint $33.07 Maximum $41.19Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.
Experience
Required: Minimum three (3) years of experience in a Human Resources department or in a customer service environment.
Preferred: Minimum five (5) years of experience in a Human Resources department performing similar functions.
Education
Required: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent Human Resources experience.
Specialized Skills
Required: Working knowledge on human resources practices and labor laws in the areas of recruitment, AA/EEO, employee relations, compensation, training, benefits, leave of absences, compliance, and wage and hour. Working knowledge of PC Office products and HRIS. Ability to manage multiple projects, work in a fast-paced environment, and able to meet short deadlines. Ability to deal tactfully with challenging customers, pay attention to detail, and follow through on all projects and tasks.
Preferred: Intermediate knowledge of Lawson HRIS and other HRIS systems.
