Now you have a unique opportunity in our Dispensary, Campaign Support & Solution prep. Department, as we are looking for an Associate Director for our manufacturing facility here in Hillerød.

Your New Role

We are looking for the right Associate Director for our manufacturing facility here in Hillerød. We are looking for an experienced People Manager who is eager to join a fast-growing CDMO. You will get the opportunity to lead, develop and improve an already existing organisation and an organisation which is looking into large expansion during the coming years.

Your primary tasks will entail but not limited to:

  • Lead with respect for every team member, nurturing their potential and growth.
  • Shop floor management by supporting and facilitating visual management, 3C and escalation flow.
  • Implement and oversee systems like 5S, TWI, 3C, and other transformative methodologies, ensuring their integration into daily operations and enhancing operational excellence.
  • Embed core behaviors such as trust, customer delight, Gemba (on-site engagement), and Genki (enthusiasm).
  • Ensure that we deliver in accordance with our agreements with our customers.
  • Drive continuous improvement by challenging the status quo, fostering a culture of shared responsibility.
  • Ensure alignment with your peers across the organization and develop the value stream.

  • Has a rich experience of over 10 years in pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices, or analogous sectors.
  • Demonstrate a strong foundation in biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Possess hands-on experience with implementing and managing systems like 5S, TWI, Dry training setups, 3C problem solving and other lean methodologies.
  • Show a history of inspiring teams, embedding a LEAN culture, and emphasizing value creation.
  • Have undergone professional training or certifications related to operational excellence and lean methodologies, ensuring adeptness at driving and sustaining such initiatives.
  • Possess exceptional relationship-building capabilities, underpinned by respect for every individual.
  • Balance an entrepreneurial spark with unwavering commitment to quality and adaptability.
  • Exhibit fluency in English.
  • Thrive in an operational environment where priorities may shift on short notice, and where you at times will have to prioritize.

Your New Team & Department 

The Dispensary, Campaign Support and Solution Prep Department (abb. DCS&SP) Department you will be joining consist of +120 operators, 6 Supervisors, 1 Continuous Improvement Partner and 3 Managers and is expected to grow significant during the next years. With the expansion journey we are on you will experience first-hand how manufacturing is growing at rapid speed.

As Associate Director in our Manufacturing Department you will provide leadership to a Team of People Leaders within the area of Media and Buffer Preparation. You will take the lead in defining the strategy and setting the direction for the department. As an Associate Director you will lead 4 supervisors with approx. 10-25 operators in each team. You will ensure that we work in accordance with our 4 core values - trust, delight our customers, Gemba (go see), and Genki (enthusiasm). You will drive a continues improvement culture and always be ready to challenge status quo. In this role you will work closely with peers within your own area as well as peers within Quality, Engineering among others and across the site to ensure successful delivery of site goals. The common denominator of the Department is the acknowledgement and development of every employee and the diversity of the employees who have different experiences and educational backgrounds but collaborate closely on getting our medicine safely and quickly on the market.
