As a Lead Application XTS Engineer, you will be challenged to lead Tenders & Projects, where you will give support to projects and support technology development. You will also support execution of subsea projects. You will be supporting the regional sales and commercial teams, interacting with Customers providing technical expertise during early engagement activities.

As a Lead Application XTS Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Executing XTree design and correspondent tooling (shop or field use) to proposals and projects.
• Defining XTree system layout from concept definition phase to FEED/Tender, detail engineering and execution phases of a subsea project.
• Defining and preparing functional specifications for Trees, Controls, connections and Flowlines.
• Building Cost Models, leading Cost-out and trade-off exercises using lean and continuous improvement strategies.
• Developing Concept & Detail Design Reviews, CTRs and conducting those through approval process with correspondent product lines.
• Reporting of progress, technical and interface matters in project meetings and progress reports of assigned tasks and CTRs.
• Liaising with clients on a technical level to ensure their needs are being met and ensuring they are aware of the data input requirements to allow the study to proceed on-schedule.
• Supporting the OFE sales and commercial organization in identifying and pursuing opportunities related to early engagement or invitations to tender.
• Assisting in the preparation of proposals as part of a proposals team or technical peer checker.
• Leading a team with expertise and develop leadership within the group and Working collaborative with a global engineering community
• Ensuring and promoting good communication across different stakeholders, manufacturing and engineering disciplines
• Developing Project deliverables and reviewing the work of others, such as but not limited to manufacturing drawings, schematics, P&IDs, procedures, reports, etc.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a MSc or BSc degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Controls Engineering or equivalent as required with extensive experience in a similar role.
• Have broad knowledge of processes, methods and procedures within project and engineering management.
• Have proven experience in front-end design activities, covering FEED studies and tenders.
• Have proven experience in design and selection across one or more of the following: System Analysis / Interface Management / Requirement Management / Control systems / Constructability and installation.
• Have demonstrable depth of experience in project engineering within a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Be available to travel internationally for project needs and for short term assignments.
