The Distribution Operations Leader is responsible for managing and optimizing Cytiva Korea Local Distribution Centre (KRS) warehousing and logistics operations to meet customer delivery needs and support strategic business goals. This includes overseeing 3PL and carrier performance, resolving operational issues, improving efficiency, enhancing quality, and driving cost reduction through collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

This position reports to the Director, Distribution Operations APAC, and is part of the Global Distribution Operations team. Based in Korea, it is an on-site role responsible for overseeing KRS warehouse and logistics operations. The role is primarily based in the Cytiva Korea Seoul office, with regular on-site presence (1–2 days per week) at the KRS 3PL (Incheon) warehouse, depending on business needs. The role requires active engagement with global, regional, and in-country stakeholders to drive execution, resolve operational issues, and ensure on-time delivery performance.

What you will do:

• Lead 3PL performance management to achieve delivery targets and drive cost efficiency across KRS
• Oversee end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring alignment with the Primary Distribution Centre (PDP), Regional Distribution Centre (RDP), and Global Distribution Operations Centre of Excellence (CoE).
• Analyze operational metrics, identify risks, and drive improvement initiatives to enhance on-time delivery, quality, and cost performance using Danaher Business System (DBS) fundamentals
• Manage and develop the warehouse and logistics team through recruitment, training, and performance management, fostering continuous improvement
• Build and maintain effective relationships while collaborating with global, regional, and in-country stakeholders to drive execution, resolve operational issues, manage escalations, and ensure compliance with sustainability and regulatory requirements

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field
• More than 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations leadership, supporting end-to-end execution
• Proven track record in managing 3PL operations to improve warehouse performance, delivery reliability, and cost efficiency
• Experience working across Commercial, Customer Service, Distribution Operations, Trade Operations, and Supply Chain Operations teams in a matrix environment to drive execution and resolve operational issues
• Strong English proficiency is required; Korean language skills are preferred to facilitate effective bilingual communication

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: 

• Comparable leadership experience from related functions, where there is proven exposure to distribution operations and logistics execution, is encouraged to apply and may be considered.
• Prior experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies or a DBS Certified Practitioner will be advantageous.
