What You'll Do:

  • Work closely with business development personnel to win deals while limiting Company’s risk

  • Develop creative legal solutions that advance Company goals and minimize risk

  • Independently review, revise, and negotiate client and vendor agreements

  • Utilize contract management system to track, report on, and organize contracts

  • Research and grasp healthcare staffing laws to advise on Company action and risks

  • Maintain working knowledge of data privacy and SaaS-related legal issues

  • Collaborate with business operations teams to implement best practices and growth strategies

  • Identify complex insurance coverage issues and work with insurance to obtain COIs

  • Draft demand letters and other legal correspondence as needed

  • Liaise with outside counsel on litigation matters

  • Continued devotion to empathy, accuracy, and precision

Experience:

  • 3+ years of legal experience

  • Demonstrated experience negotiating client-facing contracts alongside sales personnel

Skills:

  • Knack for visualizing doable future action based on contractual or legislative requirements and business goals

  • Aptitude for developing collaborative, creative legal solutions

  • Ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex legal concepts and terms in writing  

Education:

  • Juris Doctor

  • OK Bar License or MI Bar License or ability to obtain license shortly after hire
