Job Description Summary

As a member of the Industrial Segment of the Steam Power Services Business, you will be an active contributor to the Planning and execution for all Turbine Evaluation Assessment and Maintenance Scheduling (TEAMS) inspections. This role will require you to be a subject matter expert on the TEAMS inspections and support the TEAMS program in its entirety. You will also be an integral part of the continuous improvement efforts of Field Services

Establish yourself as a subject matter expert by demonstrating deep knowledge on the GE & Alstom steam Turbine Technologies .

 

You will be an indispensable program leader, with excellent management skills that will allow you to bring much needed rigor and consistency to the program allowing the growth and further development of the program.

Who You Are:

You are someone who brings a practical understanding of Lean Principle to continuous improvement efforts  and field service execution

You have experience with TEAMS Inspections on GE & Alstom Steam Turbine Generators working as a Field Engineer or Technical Field Advisor

Your Role:

Function as a SME for the TEAMS and STEP programs.

Support TFA & Field Service improvement efforts

Ensure all TEAMS/STEP Inspections are schedule and planned.

Manage the TEAMS/STEP qualified resources in cooperation with the RM’s.

Review TEAMS/STEP inspection reports and help facilitate the customer closeout meeting as needed.

Travel up to 50% of the time will be required.

Ensure the broader TFA Population has information they need to be successful

Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

 

High School / GED with 5+ years of work experience performing TEAMS/STEP Inspections or relevant work experience.

Desired Qualifications:

 

Bachelor’s degree from an Accredited University in a STEM Program

GE & Alstom Field Engineering Experience.

Deep Knowledge of Steam Turbine Operations.

Understanding of LEAN Principles

Understanding of vibration analysis.

GE Controls and Unit Operation Expert with MHC Experience.

Startup / Commissioning experience.

Project Management and experience with managing multiple projects at a time.

Demonstrate leadership ability through decision-making abilities, troubleshooting, problem-solving and teamwork.

Knowledge of GE systems and processes.

Good customer service and interpersonal skills.

Good communication, time management and organizational skills.

Ability to multi-task, coordinate, plan and assume managerial responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the Supervisor.

Intermediate knowledge level of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $91,400.00 and $152,200.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
