Communication and Outreach:
Serve as the primary liaison for network members, hospitals outside the network, program partners, and employees.
Develop and disseminate communication materials, including newsletters, brochures, and social media content.
Manage communication and timelines for all program evaluations and reports and assist program directors and data managers with collating the required information and documents.
Facilitate scheduling Sunflower-MOMS meetings and all associated committee meetings as needed
Assist Maternal-Fetal Medicine team with establishing and scheduling system-wide patient reviews
Assist in the development and implementation of continuing education credits for system-wide training.
Correspond with Kansas Medicaid and KDHE offices to ensure timely project updates.
Assist with the development and distribution of various contracts needed for program maintenance.
Work closely with Office of Grants and Research (OGR) to ensure overall management of the project requirements.
Logistics and Administrative Duties:
Serve as principal administration liaison
Manage project documentation to include timely filing of all federal requirements.
Prepare progress reports
Provide daily oversight of the project budget with the assistance and collaboration of OGR.
Provide administrative support to the Project Director(s), Evaluator and Maternal Fetal Medicine experts and other team members as needed.
Oversee the ordering of supplies and equipment required for the Sunflower-MOMS program.
Coordinate purchasing of equipment and supplies aligned to the Sunflower-MOMS network.
Maintain KUMC Workday requirements for the project in collaboration with Office of Grants and Research.
Attend all Sunflower-MOMS meetings.
Facilitate scheduling of on-site and virtual meetings with project team and network partners.
Develop, maintain, and distribute meeting agendas and minutes to participants.
Develop and maintain record keeping systems and procedures.
Provide daily oversight of the project’s electronic handbook system.
Complies with all rules and regulations as applicable to assigned work center and federally funded project.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field or equivalent work experience required.
Work Experience:
2-4 years non-profit, research, or healthcare related experience desired
Experience working with database management.
Preferred Qualifications
Work Experience:
minimum 1-year Obstetrical Nursing experience OR
Radiology Technologist experience

Demonstrate competence in oral and written communication.
Must be organized, attentive to detail, and possess a positive, friendly and professional demeanor.
Must be flexible with changing priorities and able to communicate in a diplomatic and professional manner.
Computer skills include at least intermediate level experience with Excel and other Microsoft Office Software.
Promotes positive, professional relationships with co-workers and members of the project network.
Applicant must have a current driver’s license and be able and willing to travel independently to hospital sites and meetings.

Compensation Statement:
The pay range listed for this position is determined by our compensation program using market data and salary benchmarking. A combination of factors is considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, education, experience and training, qualifications relative to the requirements of the position, and funding. At the University of Kansas Medical Center, a reasonable estimate for the starting pay range will be the minimum to midpoint of the posted range, taking into account the combination of factors listed above.
