Job Overview
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under general direction of the Vice President of Technology Services, provides strategic, operational, and analytical support to initiatives that advance the organization’s technology vision. Leads cross-functional efforts that enhance communication, drive process improvements, and support leaders and teams across the IT organization to ensure consistent, high‑quality service delivery.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Partners with the Vice President of Technology Services to define, communicate, and execute the enterprise technology strategy.
Serves as a trusted advisor, supporting prioritization, planning, and executive decision-making by conducting research, performing analyses, and preparing presentations.
Leads and coordinates cross-functional programs across Technology Services and business units, including process improvements, audit responses, and developing statements of work.
Drives continuous improvement through automation, standardization, and adoption of best practices.
Improves communication and collaboration across Technology Services Section, by facilitating meetings, developing documentation, status reporting, and helping clarify roles and responsibilities
Leads special initiatives and strategic projects.
Oversees budget coordination and resource planning.
Prepares executive presentations and strategic reports.
Identifies risks, anticipates issues, and develops mitigation recommendations.
Represents the Vice President of Technology Services in meetings and workgroups as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Five (5) plus years of experience in IT leadership, strategic planning, or enterprise program management.
Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of IT strategy, governance, and enterprise architecture.
Knowledge of organizational leadership and operations management.
Knowledge and understanding of IT operations, governance, and digital transformation.
Skill in communicating with and presenting to executive-level leadership.
Ability to manage complex initiatives with competing priorities.
Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across the organization.
Ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must obtain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) Airport Identification/Access Badge (badge) in accordance with Department of Homeland Security Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requirements in Chapter 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations Part 1500 et al., and DFW Airport’s Airport Security Program within thirty (30) days from date of employment and maintain qualification for a SIDA badge upon each badge renewal.
Ability to obtain and maintain an FBI Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) clearance.

Understanding of airport operations, regulatory requirements, and the unique technology needs of aviation environments.

Experience in vendor management, contract oversight, and enterprise procurement processes.
Experience optimizing or redesigning business processes for efficiency and service improvement.
