We are looking for a Sr. HR Generalist to support our growing team in Bangalore , India. This position partners with multiple leaders and employees across our Engineering and Product / R&D teams in India as well as with the broader global HR team. The role translates overall company strategy to the functional teams it supports and implements programs to achieve the business strategy . The ideal candidate is passionate about people and wants to make an impact on our culture and our success. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, HR in India.
What You'll Do:
- Be responsible (lead and execute) for the employees’ life cycle, from pre boarding, through on boarding, benefits, employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, compliance and off boarding .
- Responsible for all new hire communication, including document collection, HR audit of HRIS data accuracy and completeness, and coordination with Payroll and IT
- Employee Benefits management. Coordination with the Benefits broker for employee health benefits management. Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions, escalations and feedback. Escalate concerns and suggestions to management and broker.
- Champion Learning and development for the site. Partner with business in order to build and drive a learning culture. Ensure adoption of e- learning platform. Track metrics, generate reports and maintain dashboards. Drive completion of new hire and annual compliance training with reporting, metrics and target communication.
- Employee Engagement. Plan and execute monthly and quarterly employee engagement activities (communication, ideation and execution, logistics and feedback) along with the Operations team
- Compliance. Ensure legal compliances are met timely, and provide guidance in local employment laws, processes, and policies. Ensure all statutory compliance requirements are met including for POSH and CSR, in partnership with our Compliance vendor.
- Primary lead on execution of CSR strategy and coordination of employee volunteering.
- Connect with employees on a regular basis to proactively identify talent needs. Work closely with managers and employees to improve and maintain employee relations.
- Lead for internal HR audits.HR knowledge management, process documentation and automation, to support the site as it scales rapidly.
What You'll Bring:
- 5 - 8 years of experience in a similar position in a global high-tech company, working with all levels of employees and leaders.
- Hands on experience with several areas of HR including onboarding, benefits, employee engagement, learning and development, compliance and off boarding
- Experience working with Engineering, R&D, Product functions in a software business.

- Fluent English, written and verbal communication.
- A Bachelor’s degree in human resources , Business or a related field.
- Proficient with Microsoft tools and HRIS, Workday preferred. Aside from that MsOffice and Gsuite, Advanced excel and ppt, experience with an LMS software would be good too. Ability to work from the office in Bangalore at least 4 days a week.
