Looking for a Scrum Master to who would be accountable to setup, evolve & drive the scrum structure, including ceremonies & the metrics for the platform teams within the guidelines laid out by client; acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies; coaches and mentors, the Scrum Team(s), removes barriers to successful implementation and enables a continued focus on the task at hand; facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives; identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
• Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Works with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.
• Supporting and educating the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog.
• Upskills team members and facilitates end of sprint retros – contribute to the teams understanding of their in-sprint performance.
• Removes impediments or guides the team to remove impediments.
• Facilitate discussion, decision making, and conflict resolution.
• Assisting with internal and external communication, improving transparency, and radiating information.
• Use tools like JIRA to measure the velocity, important agile metrics, and capacity of the teams.
• Track internal and external deadlines.
• Ensuring that a clear, correct, prioritized product backlog is maintained and estimated by the team and Product Owner.
• Help the team to have a clear view of the sprint backlog items.
• Provide all support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example.
Job Qualifications
• Scrum (Agile), CSM/equivalent certification,
• Strong verbal and writing skills, ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams,
• Knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment,
• Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams.
• Experience with JIRA and confluence or ADO.
• Knowledge and experience of other agile, lean and DevOps approaches (e.g., XP, Kanban, TDD, continuous integration, continuous delivery, automation, etc.)
• Exposure to delivering the Digital transformation projects using any Agile/Agile Scrum methodology.
