JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Department of Biobehavioral Health at The Pennsylvania State University (http://bbh.hhd.psu.edu/) is seeking applications for an Undergraduate Research Assistant to join the ‘Omics’ Discovery laboratory. Candidates for this position should have experience in the areas of public health, genetics, biology, and statistics.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Experience in statistical programming (R, Unix, Linux, etc.) is recommended. Experience or past training in epidemiology is not necessary but viewed positively. The research project the successful applicant will be leveraging both epidemiological and omics to identify metabolomic signatures of Early Onset Colorectal Cancer.
Schedule: will work up to 10 hours per week
Compensation: The starting rate for this job is $16/hour
