PayPal is seeking a B2B Marketing Intern to join the European Enterprise Marketing team, which aims to promote PayPal solutions to large enterprises in the region. We’re seeking a smart, ambitious, self-starter who can balance strategic thinking with tactical execution. You will help build and run our core marketing initiatives to drive awareness and generate leads for local sales teams.

We have an international team and we work closely together on a daily basis you will enjoy a very international environment. This role focuses on France, Italy, Spain, Portugal and reports to the Head od Enterprise Marketing for the region.

This position will actively participate in all marketing projects for the region It requires regular collaboration with our broader Sales and Marketing teams within Europe and the US, allowing you to work in a truly international environment. Your day to day

The position will be based in our central-London office. Scope:

  • Content management: Support our local content needs by collaborating with agencies and internal stakeholders to develop contents and distribution plans across marketing channels (Paid Media, Web, Direct Mail, and Email) that lead to opportunity creation and pipeline acceleration. 
     
  • Lead Generation: Collaborate with Sales teams to ensure marketing plans are in alignment with strategic product mandates and sales directives. Partner closely with our BDR and sales teams to ensure strong alignment and clear lead follow-up based on local target lists.
     
  • Events: Closely work with the Global Events team to organize key events in the region including for example Paris Retail Week (France), eShow Madrid (Spain) tradeshows and assist in the organization of local events (diners, hospitality…).
     
  • Digital marketing: assist in executing core key seasonal and product-related marketing campaigns creating a highly effective and personalized approach for strategic accounts. Day-to-day responsibilities include working with our creative agency, developing creative assets for owned and paid channels, and ensuring that deadlines are met.

  • Autonomous, coming with proposals and initiatives, ready to take on and lead projects.
  • Collaborative, eager to work in an international environment and across multiple teams.
  • Concrete and action-oriented personality.

Experience and skills:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters degree specializing in Marketing/ Digital Marketing, Business or related subject
  • A previous internship in a digital startup, agency or related industry (B2B, SaaS, Fintech) will be considered an advantage.
  • The successful applicant must speak proficient English and at least one of the following: Italian, Spanish or French.
  • Strong analytical skills and obsession with achieving pipeline growth.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Salesforce (eventually Pardot).
