PRIMARY FUNCTION

Shall perform a variety of warehousing duties that require an advanced understanding of the Company's Logistics Operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • May be selected to work as Section Lead to assist supervisors and provide training to other associates for respective work areas.

  • Must have a desire to achieve the best and produce top quality results.

  • Ensures quality control by appropriately handling and accurately processing material in accordance with standard operating procedures (i.e., Command Media).

  • Must possess critical thinking skills to execute processes and provide recommendation on ways to improve processes and standards.

  • Obtain access to required Inventory Management Systems (Th1S) / Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), or other systems as required, and retain/ preserve certifications as required by the Company, and attain proficiency; typical systems requiring access are, but not limited to, Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS), Systems Applications and Products (SAP) and GOLDesp.

  • Complete required training on time to perform duties required for position, within the Company's and Customer's learning systems.

  • Support Company's and Customer's Logistics policies, administer and maintain inventory control program, and coordinate with in-house teams to promote accurate and timely processing of orders.

  • Follow and enforce processes to receive, move, store and ship materials in accordance with Command Media. Government and Security regulations, providing continuous improvement ideas to Warehouse leadership.

  • Verify materials (or merchandise) against shipping/ receiving documents, annotate and report discrepancies and obvious damages, know / monitor condition code and report discrepancies, print and apply stow labels, route materials to prescribed storage locations.

  • Storing, examining stored materials, reporting deterioration and damage, stacking or re-palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods, inventorying material, removing material from storage, verifying unit of issue, quantities, item identification nomenclature, part number (PIN), stock number (NSN), serial number (SIN) against documents and preparing material for shipment.

  • Provide assistance for maintaining Logistics planning tasks.

  • Understand and effectively execute Returns to Inventory (RTI) I Return to Stock (RTS) processes.

  • Understand and effectively execute Electrostatic Device (ESD), shelf-life and calibration management to support Enterprise tasking.

  • Maintain accountable records and provide traceability of documents through required Inventory Management Systems (IMS)/ Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or other designated tracking systems.

  • Scan orders and track shipments across multiple inventory systems.

  • Maintain required inventory controls.

  • Inspect output documents, Materiel Management Requests (MMR), Warehouse request (WR), issue, shipping, etc., for accuracy, comparing to standards, verify or validate accuracy to satisfy requirements, prepares reports and provides feedback to effect necessary changes.

  • Pick up, receive, inspect, sort, and deliver incoming, outgoing, and inter-office mail.

  • Responsible for general housekeeping in compliance with general warehouse maintenance methods and shall respond to non-routine issues as required.

  • Report maintenance requirements of assigned equipment and conduct required preventative maintenance and safety inspections.

  • Must be trained and licensed to operate required material-handling equipment (MHE) and other support equipment to store or move material; license must be retained / preserved during period of employment to support warehouse operations.

  • Safety First: observe work-place safety rules and procedures by using applicable Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and immediately addressing all safety concerns; must complete all safety training requirements.

  • Other duties as assigned.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

  • Dedication to ensuring the Company's performance metrics are met

  • Ability to safeguard all government property/facilities and provide resource protection to prevent contamination, pilferage, sabotage, and damage, accidental or intentional, including used controlled forms

  • Must not pose a potential threat to the health, safety, security and general wellbeing or operational mission of the installation and its population

  • Present a neat, clean, and professional appearance at all times, unless precluded by assigned work

  • Demonstrable experience as a self-starter who takes initiative in problem resolution and follow-through for non-routine issues

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 5+ years Warehouse Specialist II experience, or equivalent

  • Proficiency operating in GOLDesp, SAP, DPAS, or equivalent Inventory Management System

  • Experience warehousing Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), HAZMAT Certification preferred

  • Must possess active MHE license

  • Working knowledge of PC computer systems, cargo/material management software preferred

  • Must be able to pass a drug test and possess, or be able to obtain, a DoD National Agency Check Investigation (NACI) Interim Secret Security Clearance within 60 days from date of hire
