Printpack is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Projects Leader. This position is located in Atlanta, GA and reports to the Sales Manager.

The candidate will possess a college degree and three to five years of related work experience in customer business management, preferably within the packaging industry or similar discipline.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills and comfortable building relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Works well under pressure and able to handle multiple priorities
  • Analytical skills with an interest and ability to work with numbers.
  • Detail oriented and conscientious of data accuracy.
  • Self-directed with good judgment to make sound decisions independently and with coaching
  • Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Prism and familiarity with ERP type systems.
  • Four year college degree

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management Territory Support: Supports a broad sales territory with major focus on issue resolution, on-boarding, optimization, working capital management, product support and identifying the right internal resources to engage based on the situation. Work will be prioritized on larger accounts, but this role also provides assistance on smaller accounts that don’t meet the volume threshold on an ad hoc basis as issues come up.
  • New Business Development Territory Support: Takes ownership of the customer onboarding process. Gathers information from customer contacts to enter new accounts into the system and request credit lines. Adds new bill to or ship locations as necessary.
  • Provides an additional and elevated level of customer service support, interfacing with internal supply chain and plant management, to ensure customer requirements are met. Occasional involvement in order management to include order acknowledgements, expediting, shipping confirmations and tracking. Responds to customer complaints to include RMA entry, management, and follow up.
  • Works with Sales and CDAs to support customer planning and forecasting needs. • Supports trials and new item commercialization by facilitating communication between Sales, PDEs, CDAs and customer contacts.
  • Works closely with Sales & Credit tracking accounts receivables, processing/applying credits, ensuring proper payment of invoices, researching and resolving short payments, invoicing errors and unearned discounts, and adherence to payment terms for all assigned customers within the sales team. Enters request for billing and credits and serves as point person to address credit hold orders for assigned accounts.
  • Tracks, manages and resolves aged inventory issues. Works with Sales to hold customers accountable to agreed upon inventory terms.   • Manages & reconciles all internal and external graphics billings for assigned customers.
  • Works with Sales & Pricing to assure price lists are kept up to date. This includes adding new items, revising existing items, and requesting raw material updates by completing and submitting RFP's to the Pricing Department.
  • Supports Director of Sales in pricing, proposal development, presentations, samples, reports, and information gathering.
  • Gives administrative support as necessary for the assigned sales team.
