Events Lead

What this job involves:

As the Events Lead at JLL, you'll be at the forefront of creating unforgettable experiences that showcase our brand and strengthen our relationships with clients and partners. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape a brighter way for our organization by conceptualizing, planning, and executing high-impact events that align with our strategic objectives. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, both locally and across the globe, to deliver innovative and inspiring events that reflect JLL's commitment to excellence. This position requires a creative mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while prioritizing opportunities to advance your career and contribute to our collective success.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Develop and manage comprehensive event strategies aligned with JLL's brand and business goals

  • Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of various events, including conferences, trade shows, and client appreciation functions

  • Collaborate with leadership teams to ensure event objectives are met and exceed expectations

  • Negotiate and manage vendor relationships, contracts, and budgets

  • Implement innovative event technologies and platforms to enhance attendee experiences

  • Analyze event metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement

  • Foster a culture of inclusivity and belonging across event teams and attendees

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in event planning and management, preferably in a corporate setting

  • Proven track record of successfully executing large-scale events

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Proficiency in event management software and tools

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field

  • Experience in the real estate or professional services industry

  • Certification in event planning (e.g., CMP, CSEP)

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team members

  • Multilingual capabilities

  • Experience with virtual and hybrid event formats

  • Proven success in implementing sustainable event practices
