Program Manager Platform Strategist

We are seeking a Program Manager Platform Strategist to drive thought leadership and strategic oversight of our investment products and platforms. This role is pivotal in shaping enterprise-level initiatives that span multiple products and divisions.
As the Senior Product and Platform Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping Vanguard’s product and platform strategy, ensuring our offerings are innovative, compliant, and aligned with market needs. Your leadership will drive the integration of new products and enhancements into our existing ecosystem, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Thought Leadership: Develop comprehensive thought leadership strategies for product lines, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Cross-Divisional Collaboration: Enhance collaboration across various divisions to ensure seamless integration of product strategies.
Enterprise-Level Initiative Leadership: Spearhead major initiatives that involve multiple products and divisions, focusing on innovation and scalability.
Product Integration Leadership: Oversee the integration of new products and enhancements into the existing platform ecosystem.
Market, Regulatory, and Competitive Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to guide strategic direction and ensure compliance.
Other Responsibilities
Manages programs or major workstreams of a broader program. Ensures that the scope of the program aligns with business priorities and that business value is properly measured for prioritization.
Develops and maintains broad knowledge and awareness of Financial Services industry forces, competition, and trends to act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle. Monitors financial, legal, and other regulatory environments to ensure projects are aligned with the overall company strategy and market conditions.
Communicates with stakeholders, leaders, team members, management, and department partners to ensure that requirements and priorities are understood. Monitors project progress and results and submits regular status reports to management and internal and external stakeholders. Ensures the development and execution of business change management and communication plans.
Builds and maintains relationships across program stakeholders and proactively fosters effective communication between internal and external parties. Drives key decisions to ensure alignment with overarching goals across stakeholders.
Ensures all steps are taken to mitigate risk and maintains control, compliance, audit, and legal requirements. Maintains an appropriate level of technical and business knowledge to support program implementation.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
An undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience is required. Advanced degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or Engineering preferred.
Minimum of eight years related business experience. Financial Services and function-specific experience required. Minimum of four years project management experience.
Extensive experience in managing complex multi-product initiatives.
Strong understanding of financial products and regulatory requirements.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
