The Opportunity

This is your opportunity to bring your industry leading telephone-based sales and Life Insurance experience to our AIA Financial Services department.  

This critical role is responsible for the management and provision of leads from referral partners in relation to Life Insurance, Private Health Insurance and Financial planning needs. You will be committed to making a positive difference in our customers lives by helping them see the connection between financial wellbeing, and physical and mental wellbeing.   

To do this successfully you will:

  • Provide excellent customer engagement by owning the referral process and ensuring the most appropriate offering based on the customer
  • Assisting customer queries over the phone through inbound/outbound calls as well as digital channels
  • Educate our customers on the full range of products and services, so they can make informed decisions on what is appropriate for their needs
  • Build your knowledge of the Advice industry, legislative changes and attend professional development and compliance training sessions
  • Be curious and interested to continuously grow your knowledge and learning to provide a better service to customers
  • Collaborate with different parts of the business to help with ongoing business initiatives

Successful applications will demonstrate:

  • RG146 Qualified (General Knowledge, Life Insurance, Superannuation)
  • Demonstrated ability working in high volume, fast paced telephone-based sales environment, 
  • Working within a regulated environment with a strong focus on compliance and quality is highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Well-developed rapport building and customer engagement skills
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Strong work ethic with a high level of personal accountability
