NVIDIA Networking Business Unit is looking for an experienced and proactive Environmental and Reliability Testing Manager to manage all aspects of environmental and reliability testing for our systems and components for all our networking products. NVIDIA Networking division is a leading supplier of innovative end-to-end InfiniBand and Ethernet connectivity solutions and services for servers and storage. We offer market-leading solutions that include adapter cards, switches, cables and software to support networking technologies. What you will be doing:

  • Manage and lead the Environmental Tests Team and the Functional Acceptance Test Team (Basic Functional Tests Team).

  • Develop and implement comprehensive test plans for environmental and reliability testing of systems and components, in accordance with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, IEC, MIL-STD, JEDEC).

  • Manage and oversee the operation of testing facilities, including environmental chambers, vibration and shock test equipment, and other specialized testing tools.

  • Ensure proper maintenance, calibration, and upgrades of testing equipment to maintain accurate and reliable results.

  • Lead and mentor a team of technicians and engineers, fostering a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to align testing strategies with product development goals and timelines.

  • Analyze and interpret test results, prepare comprehensive reports, and provide recommendations for product improvements and corrective actions.

  • Stay current with the latest environmental and reliability testing methodologies, standards, and best practices, and implement them as appropriate.

  • Manage testing budgets, resources, and schedules to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, or related field) or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of 8 overall years of experience in environmental and reliability testing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

  • Strong knowledge of environmental and reliability testing standards, such as ISO, IEC, MIL-STD, and JEDEC.

  • Hands-on experience with environmental testing equipment, such as thermal chambers, humidity chambers, vibration tables, and shock test machines.

  • Proven ability to lead and manage a technical team, with strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean).
