This role is in support of Cencora's global logistics and storage services marketed through our World Courier business.

At World Courier, we provide comprehensive healthcare logistics services that encompass various aspects of medical supply chain management. From clinical trials to commercial supply chains, our solutions are tailored to ensure efficiency, compliance, and reliability.
Responsibilities:
Safely operate a van for the transportation of goods across domestic and international destinations
Plan and execute efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while adhering to local and international road regulations
Inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is roadworthy, clean, and in compliance with safety standards
Load and unload goods, ensuring proper handling and secure placement to avoid damage during transit
Complete all required documentation, including delivery notes, customs paperwork, and logs, accurately and on time
Communicate effectively with clients, dispatchers, and other team members to provide delivery updates and resolve any issues
Ensure compliance with customs regulations, border crossing procedures, and international transport laws
Monitor and manage vehicle fuel usage, tolls, and other travel-related expenses while keeping accurate records
Address and resolve minor on-road issues, such as basic vehicle troubleshooting, to minimize delays
Uphold high standards of professionalism and customer service when interacting with clients and stakeholders

Requirements:
Valid driver’s license with the required certifications for domestic and international driving
Slovenian language - Native/Advanced level - is mandatory
English language - B1 fluent level - is mandatory
German language - will be an advantage
Proven experience as a driver at least 2 years, preferably in domestic and international transportation - will be an advantage
Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety regulations, and customs procedures
Ability to plan routes efficiently, including using GPS and other navigation tools, while considering international borders and regulations
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy lifting when required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
Flexibility to work long hours, overnight, as needed
Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting is an advantage
Basic knowledge of multiple languages (optional, but helpful for international routes)
Valid passport and ability to travel internationally
Clean driving record with no major violations
Willingness to undergo background checks or drug testing, as required
