IDEXX is looking for an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to sell and promote IDEXX Rapid Assay products to customers via phone. While interacting with the customers the candidate will further identify customer’s in-house diagnostic (IHD) and reference laboratory (LAB) needs and create IHD and/or LAB sales opportunities.
This is a remote role located in Czech Republic.
In This Role:
ISR have impactful virtual business conversations with our customers, creating customer loyalty by understanding the daily realities of a veterinary practice - providing solutions that improve Rapid Assay workflow, capture charges and digitalize the results for better diagnostic decisions. Our IDEXX ISR supports and collaborates with the IDEXX customer ecosystem colleagues such as Veterinarian Diagnostic Consultant (VDC) and the Sales Manager (SM) to leverage the strengths of the IDEXX portfolio, promotional offerings and a targeted sales approach to drive profitable revenues and customer satisfaction. Externally, our ISR’s are the crucial bridge between our customers and IDEXX - you work to equip veterinary clinics with the tests and tools they need to help keep pets happy and healthy.
Your main responsibilities include:
Generate Sales and Promote Rapid Assay. Identify the Rapid Assay products or services that best meet the customer's stated needs, explain the selection to the customer, and invite the customer to make a purchase at the standard price/terms and conditions of sale. Perform a defined number of customer events.
Process Customer Rapid Assay Orders. Record and process customer Rapid Assay orders selecting the most appropriate approach based on predefined options.
Identify Customer in-house diagnostic and reference laboratory needs. Interview the customer, following a multi-level sales script and product/services training, to clarify the customer’s IHD and LAB needs.
Create in-house diagnostic, reference laboratory Sales Opportunities. Identify potential customers for IHD and/or LAB acquisition by needs discovery and information collection.
Support conversion of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQL) to Sales Qualified Leeds (SQL). Create Sales Opportunities in a customer data management system and assign them to the respective area VDC/VDS colleagues.
Leverage Data and Insights. Use data and insights to generate Rapid Assay sales and to secure a customer Rapid Assay loyalty.
Leverage Sales Eco System. Leverage and navigate all aspects of the Sales Ecosystem for the benefit of the customer. Educate and guide the customer to the right support to ensure their needs are met as quickly and efficiently as possible. Work effectively with colleagues within the Eco System, attending POD meetings (Purpose – Outcome – Decision), accessing their expertise as required
Develop Expertise. Develop and maintain excellent process or technical skills by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
What You Will Need to Succeed:
Customer and task-oriented, you have previous experience in daily contact with customers – ideally with proven experience in virtual sales
Fluent in English - both verbal and written
Committed to driving results in a virtual sales environment via phone, email, and chat – you have strong interpersonal & communication skills
Ability to work independently & as a committed team player
Action-oriented and resilient in a fast-paced business environment – you’re very organised with a proactive nature & have key attention to detail
Empathetic, credible, and sociable - you understand the importance of building and maintaining relationships with customers
Ability to absorb and articulate technical information, you can adapt your communication to be suitable for a variety of stakeholders
Understanding the veterinary diagnostic market and having experience in the healthcare or scientific industry is a plus
