We are seeking Senior Java Backend Developers to work on MIS (Management Information System) and Regulatory Reporting solutions, supporting statutory reporting and compliance requirements for banking authorities 

Location: Keangnam Landmark Tower 72 - Hanoi, Vietnam 

Job Description 

  • Design, develop, and maintain MIS and Regulatory Reporting applications 

  • Design complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting 

  • Support regulatory submissions to the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) and other authorities, as well as ad hoc business and compliance reports. 

  • Develop backend services using Java 

  • Build and optimize complex SQL queries, performance for large scale data processing, ensure accuracy and consistency 

  • Collaborate with business and compliance teams to meet reporting deadlines 

  • Provide system support and enhancements as needed 

  • Guide technical design and review juniors’ work 

 

Job Requirements 

  • Strong experience with Java backend development 

  • In depth expertise in complex SQL, especially Oracle SQL 

  • Experience handling large data volumes and reporting logic 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in banking or financial IT systems 

  • Experience with banking MIS systems or SBV regulatory reporting is a strong advantage 

  • Take ownership of complex reporting logic and critical regulatory deliverables 

  • Good understanding of banking data structures and financial reporting flows 

  • Good analytical and data handling skills 

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills  

  • Ability to work in enterprise scale and regulated environments  

  • Good problem solving and analytical thinking  

  • Experience working in global delivery or outsourcing models is an advantage 

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields 

  • Strong English communication skills (verbal & written), Korean is plus
