JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for overall management, sales, profitability of a specific sales region. In addition to region management, responsible for strategic execution of a particular product line (TEG and Cell Saver) across North America.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Duties are listed in order of greatest importance. The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.

  • Develop and execute overall forecast, strategic, and tactical sales plans to achieve/exceed sales and profitability targets
  • Provide managerial presence and sales support to close new business while maintaining / growing existing base
  • Manage, teach and mentor regional sales team to execute on sales plans, maximize revenue & gross margin while controlling regional expenses
  • Generate and achieve plans for revenue, expense and gross margin within a specific region
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies.
  • Attract top talent and develop internal talent to consistently meet business objectives and foster a culture of success
  • Lead regional and national sales meetings and participate in the development and execution of the NA Hospital Sales Strategy
  • Serve as an extension of the corporate leadership team, work with key internal and external stakeholders to drive business initiatives, operate effectively in a matrix environment
  • Participate in the development of the region sales meeting, presentations and training programs
  • Prospect and develop multi-level relationships with thought leaders and key customers
  • Utilize reports and data to track results, assess trends and proactively develop sales strategies



SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:


Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training and developing employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree
Business or Science related degree

EXPERIENCE:
Required 5-7 years
Leading sales teams
Med device industry experience with leadership role

Develops and delivers effective presentations
Effective interpersonal skills
Demonstrated time management and priority setting skills
Excellent organizational, business planning and revenue forecasting skills
Possesses flexibility to work in fast paced, dynamic environment
Outstanding written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated leadership skills
Proven success, hiring, developing and leading people while influencing change
Prior sales leadership experience in medical device sales, required. (capital equipment, preferred)
Demonstrated knowledge of industry, hospital and OR protocol

Pay Transparency:

The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate’s location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles. Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics’ employee compensation. For sales roles, employees will be eligible for sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms. For non-sales roles, employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms. Employees may also be eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive plan, with eligibility and target amount dependent on the role.

In addition to compensation, the Company offers a competitive suite of benefits to its employees, including without limitation, a 401(k) with up to a 6% employer match and no vesting period, an employee stock purchase plan, “flexible time off” for salaried employees and, for hourly employees, accrual of three to five weeks’ vacation annually (based on tenure), accrual of up to 64 hours (annually) of paid sick time, paid and/or floating holidays, parental leave, short- and long-term disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, and/or health and welfare benefits.
