The Enterprise Program Scheduler Lead is responsible for the task management and Enterprise execution of the Program’s site schedulers. The Lead ensures the various site schedulers provide detailed and accurate schedule reports and data sets with short turnaround times and is familiar with work breakdown structures.  Additionally, the Lead ensures the schedulers develop and manage schedules, aggregates schedules from other contracts, and prepares and explains performance metrics in conjunction with Project Managers. They meet with project teams, change managers, and service integrators, as required, in development of baseline schedules, updates and recovery schedules. The Enterprise Program Scheduler assists the project team in tracking and updating schedules from inception to completion of the project. 

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Leads an Enterprise Team of site schedulers to ensure and provide direction on the following deliverables and tasks:
  • Routinely monitors and provides awareness of schedule milestones deliverables for all project phases 
  • Creates, monitors, and analyzes project schedules in accordance with Government standards of best practice 
  • Organizes, implements, and maintains scheduling management system supporting identified projects and their plans 
  • Assists to set up tasks and sub tasks to ensure satisfactory realization of project contract requirements as scheduled 
  • Interacts with customer and project staff to schedule work and coordinate assignments 
  • Maintains and assists with project schedule 
  • Interacts with project team and task managers to define scope of work to develop and update detailed schedules, cost information, and identification of variances from original plan 
  • Evaluates project schedule progress and performance and identify developing problem areas 
  • Analyzes critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-around 
  • Develops and updates weekly short interval schedules working with project managers, engineers, and other Government stakeholders 
  • Supports stakeholders to maintain timely and effective Change Management processes, procedures, and systems 
  • Conducts analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules 
  • Assists teams to develop and maintain periodic status reports to keep management informed on program progress 
  • Identifies and communicates significant schedule risks to staff and management team 
  • Documents identified project risks, mitigations, and outcomes based on input from teams 

Required Qualifications: 

  • An Active TS/SCI Clearance with Polygraph 
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Project Scheduling using Microsoft Project or similar Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) scheduling tool 
  • Ability to facilitate meeting with Program and Government personnel 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to ensure efficient and accurate schedule development and updates. 
  • Detail oriented 
  • Extensive knowledge of MS Product Suite (MS Project, Word, Excel, SharePoint) 

Desired Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Degree 
  • Ability to prepare and conduct briefings to diverse audiences 
  • Ability to create project documentation

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400 - 143,700 USD
