Role Profile

Join a high-impact team at the forefront of industrial and healthcare innovation—where your work directly multiplies value capture for ADI, as envisioned by the ADI 3.0 strategy. As a Field System Platform Application Engineer within ADI’s CSG-INH Vertical Sales organization, you’ll take on a strategic, customer-facing role focused on scaling platform and solution adoption across key accounts, their ecosystems, and emerging disruptors.

In this role, you will be responsible for driving high-value pipeline, maximizing vertical sales revenue, and expanding market share by leading platform engagements and co-creation efforts with focused customers. You will serve as a critical technical and strategic partner - supporting the broader FAE community with deep platform expertise, and guiding customers through evaluation, integration, and successful implementation of ADI platforms in their end systems.

Success in this position requires the ability to navigate and influence complex internal and external ecosystems, engage collaboratively with customers and partners, and accelerate decision cycles through differentiated platform value. At its core, this role is about executing ADI’s commercial platform strategy while strengthening external relationships to deliver immediate business impact and long-term strategic advantage.

Responsibilities

Lead and Execute Strategic Platform Engagements

Partner with the account managers, the ecosystem team, the FAEs, and the VBUs, to drive adoption of ADI platforms. Lead technical engagements with focused customers, their ecosystem partners, and emerging disruptors - from early concept through successful implementation in end systems

Enable Co-Creation with Customers and Ecosystem Partners

Orchestrate joint development activities with customers, BUs, and external partners to co-create differentiated module, subsystem and system-level solutions built on ADI platforms. Ensure alignment with VBUs and Account Managers on strategy and execution. Shape definition and development based on customer use cases that accelerate time-to-revenue and reinforce platform stickiness.

  • Build and articulate the solution vision with customers, translating their requirements into actionable tasks and specifications that result in platform solutions employing complex technologies
  • Collaborate with customers to co-develop tailored system-level solutions that address pain points and unlock value
  • Align solution development with sales strategies to accelerate customers’ time-to-market (TTM)
  • Lead Catalyst engagements and alignments

Support the FAE Community with Platform Expertise

Act as the go-to technical expert for platform enablement within the Field organization. Provide architectural guidance, integration support, and deployment best practices to regional FAEs across verticals, and support broad market FAEs with platform or derivative applications.

Drive Design-In and Evaluation Success

Guide customers through the platform evaluation process, including benchmarking, proof-of-concept development, and finally system integration to ensure successful design-ins and rapid deployment.

Collaborate closely with Sales, Ecosystem, and BU teams to convert platform engagements into pipeline growth, accelerate deal closures, and deliver on revenue targets tied to strategic platform initiatives.

Scale Platform Adoption Across Accounts and Verticals

Identify opportunities to replicate successful platform engagements across accounts, applications, adjacent verticals, and the broad market. Contribute to internal sales enablement content, engagement playbooks, and case studies.

Influence Internal and External Stakeholders and Ecosystems

Engage with ecosystem stakeholders, including software vendors, module partners, startups, universities, and systems integrators, to align roadmaps, unlock joint opportunities, and expand platform reach.

Provide Strategic Feedback to Business Units

Channel insights from customer interactions, ecosystem trends, and field challenges back to the BU for platform improvement, roadmap alignment, and future product planning.

Demonstrate Thought Leadership

Represent ADI at industry forums, customer events, and technical workshops. Engage in speaking opportunities at industry conferences. Publish technical articles, use cases, and white papers to strengthen ADI’s market presence. Lead customer-facing boot camps and innovation sessions to deepen engagement.
