Come join a dynamic and challenging team within the Intel Data Center and AI Group focused on engineering, developing, and supporting world class platforms and component building blocks aligned to the Data Center roadmap and strategies.


We are seeking an intern interested in hands on bring up of complex AI systems that are to be scaled to support product development and engineering. Working closely with design, architecture and operations team members this intern will be playing a key role in deployment of systems in a data center environment. In addition, in this role you will work on developing automation mechanisms that would be scaled globally for world class execution. Overall a great opportunity to learn and grow skills in the emerging areas of AI and data center engineering both on hardware and software domains.

Qualifications:

This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship.  Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we experience a shortage of US Workers. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM contributing positions requiring a Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least three years of post-degree related job experience.  This position does not qualify for Intel Sponsorship because it is either (1) a non-STEM contributing position, or (2) a STEM position that only requires a Bachelor’s degree and less than three years experience. 

Requirements listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experiences and or schoolwork/classes/research.

Minimum qualifications:

The candidate must be pursing bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering. .

3+ months of experience in: 

Linux/shell scripting, ansible and/or Python programing.

Experience with computer system architecture and programing

Preferred qualifications:

Prior experience with ansible scripts and automation environments

Data center knowledge

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$40,000.00-$108,000.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. * Job posting details (such as work model, location or time type) are subject to change.
