As a Sr Analyst Third Party Programs, you will perform monthly, quarterly and annual financial and operational processes. This can include accounting, reconciliations payment processing and day to day operations.
 

This role will be responsible for processing and handling the reporting and other deliverables to internal and external partners including OEB reporting.
 

You will also update and maintain the documentation and records (narratives, flow-charts, Polices and Procedures etc) applicable to the processes and internal controls under your responsibility.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for Third Party Programs remittance reconciliation monthly. Prepare payment summary. Identify and resolve any issues affecting payment release.

  • Where discrepancies are found identify through analysis of all tables the incorrect data and process through Manual Adjustments to ensure all data is captured each month.

  • Communicate regularly with external Customers, Suppliers and Vendors to resolve account and payment issues.

  • Connect with internal stakeholders, Finance, Accounts payable, Supplier Data Management, Entrac Support and IT, discussing payment processing, trouble shooting, changes to processes and requests.

  • Billing Analysis/business assessment: Where billing issues occur provide a pro-active approach to resolution, determine the cause and effect of the issue to Vendors. Update Vendor on any billing issues and potential re-billings requirements to their customers. Ensure any re-billings are processed in a timely manner and follow up with all parties until issue is resolved.
     

Who You Are:

Required:

  • 2 or more years of experience in a similar capacity.

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and working towards a degree.

  • Excellent analytical, verbal written communication and interpersonal skills.
     

Preferred:

  • Solid understanding of financial systems, Oracle, PwC Connect SOX compliance system, SAP, Entrac, Kubra, Business Objects- reporting, SQL- queries.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
