What will you do?  

As a Lead Data Support Engineer you will Identify investigate, monitor and resolve customer issues in accordance with standards and processes. You will be also: 

• Analyzing business requirements, current technical gaps needed to support business strategies and expectations. 
• Playing a key role in conducting risk assessments, root cause analysis, corrective actions, quality assurance processes and routine issue resolution. 
• Communicating client feedback to technology teams in order to improve deliverables and meet business requirements. 

This position works directly with Slovakia based engineering leadership and Cat Digital IT in the US.  

What you have:  

• Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.  
• Systems Thinking: Knowledge of the critical interdependencies among individual system elements that help and hinder performance; ability to plan and design solutions that synchronize resources to achieve business results.  
• Application Design, Architecture: Knowledge of basic activities and deliverables of application design; ability to utilize application design methodologies, tools and techniques to convert business requirements and logical models into a technical application design.   
• Technical Troubleshooting: Knowledge of technical troubleshooting approaches, tools and techniques; ability to anticipate, recognize, and resolve technical issues on hardware, software, application or operation. 
• Experience with monitoring and alerting solutions 
• Experience with AWS infrastructure and services 
• Experience leading projects  
• Proven experience in DataOps (data pipelines, analytics and insight delivery) 
• Proven team leading experience 

Top Candidates Will Also Have: 

• Background in ITIL and/or ITSM process 
• Experience in agile methodology
