Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Division Germany GmbH is looking for a Commercial Excellence Manager – Western Europe (m/f/d) based in Cologne.

  • In alignment with the business and commercial execution strategy, Commercial Excellence Manager tailor strategies for commercial excellence and creates actionable plans for implementation within Western Europe Region.
  • The Commercial Excellence Manager supports and assists the commercial organization by providing data, analysis and reports to achieve strategic goals.
  • Responsible for resource allocation, territory management and target setting
  • Develops and monitors of the business performance KPIs through relevant processes to maximizing business capacity and optimizing the business rhythm.
  • Develops strategies in selling, measuring customer engagement, developing segmentation, and targeting, KPIs for customer facing activity and targets, time allocation for new vs existing business expansion and route to market.
  • In collaboration with the country management team, creates and measures metrics on business-critical success factors, sales performance vs targets, creates incentive compensation design and guidelines, provides training on incentive plans, assigns and distributes sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares or supports preparation of business metrics and KPIs to analyze business performance.
  • Acts as administrator of the CRM System (SFDC), including further development.
  • Evaluates the quarterly Sales force target delivery.
  • Funnel management, funnel health, velocity, order frequency, conversion rates, sales cycle vs funnel shaping.
  • Designs rich data visualizations to communicate complex ideas to management and company leaders.
  • Analyses datasets to extract actionable insights that will help drive business decisions.
  • Designs, rolls-out, manages and enhances tools and analytics such as salesforce.com, provides dashboards, analysis & insights to the business.
  • Project management: lead projects that drive & enhances business efficiencies.
  • Ensures that all activities are performed in compliance with quality system requirements.

Qualification:

  • Graduate university level education – preferably in business/finance or scientific-related disciplines.
  • Previous experience as commercial or business analyst is a must.
  • At least 3-5 years of previous experience is preferred.
  • Salesforce.com skills mandatory.
  • Data Visualization experience in Power BI.
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel, Access and Powerpoint.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English and German.
