Job Title: Consultant (Grade 140)

Job Overview:
The Consultant position within the ACOE is a pivotal role responsible for supporting data strategies, implementing technical solutions, and contributing to the team's objectives. This position holds a pivotal role in fortifying all the areas related to ETL & data management like data architecture, ensuring effective data integration, data cleansing, and fostering robust data lineage practices. The Consultant will be located in either Bangalore or Gurgaon and requires 5-7 years of hands-on experience in data management and technical expertise.

Essential Functions:
- Assist in the implementation of ETL, data management and governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
- Support initiatives in ETL, Master Data Management (MDM), Data Architecture, and Analytics, contributing to the team's innovative projects.
- Contribute to automation initiatives aimed at optimizing data workflows and enhancing operational efficiencies, leveraging cutting-edge tools and technologies to streamline data processes.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of proven experience in ETL, data management, with a strong foundation in data governance, data quality, and data lifecycle management.
- Proficiency in SQL & ETL frameworks along with reporting experience is must. Good to have - Python, R, and knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau etc.
- Basic understanding of automation tools and methodologies in the context of ETL & data management.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills, with effective communication capabilities.

Responsibilities:
- Development and execution of data governance strategies, supporting data quality enhancements and utilization improvements.
- Collaborate with the team to implement technical solutions, following ETL & data management best practices and standards.
- Contribute to identifying and implementing automation opportunities to streamline data processes.
- Work closely with senior team members to support the overall objectives of the Data Management COE.
- Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to enhance data management practices within the organization.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence.



Skills:
- SQL & PL/SQL
- Understanding of ETL, data governance principles, data quality assurance, and basic data modeling concepts.
- Proficiency in Data Analysis and data manipulation using scripting languages and SQL, PL/SQL queries.
- Database knowledge (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Data Cleansing and Transformation
- Programming Knowledge like Python, R, or scripting languages
- ETL Processes
- Familiarity with data visualization tools and basic automation techniques.
