Licensed Practical Nurse - NYP Medical Group Brooklyn – Days

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct patient care as delegated by and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Contributes to the plan of patient care and assists in providing a therapeutic environment. Functions within the policies and procedures of the hospital, divisions, and the Clinical Nursing

at NYP Medical Group Brooklyn.

This is a full- time day 8:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday position located at 3417 Kings Highway Brooklyn, NY

Preferred Criteria

• Orthopedics (adults and pediatrics) experience
• Bilingual-English and Spanish speaking preferred.

Required Criteria

• Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current Licensure and registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State
• Knowledge in Principles of infection control
• Knowledge in Principles of performance improvements
• ​Knowledge in Principles of delegation
