Responsibilities:
- Develop AI Models for HVAC Equipment - Build data-driven machine learning models to analyze customer data, optimize HVAC system performance, and predict energy consumption.
- Design and Optimize Energy-Saving Algorithms - Apply data mining technologies (e.g., time-series analysis) and optimization algorithms (e.g., PID, MPC) to create customized energy-saving strategies for HVAC systems.
- Deploy AI Solutions in Real-World HVAC Systems - Implement AI/ML models in industrial HVAC environments, conduct A/B testing, and continuously refine models for different operational conditions.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams – Work with clients and engineering teams to align technical solutions with business requirements and ensure seamless hardware-software integration.
- Stay Updated on AI/ML Advances – Research emerging technologies (e.g., reinforcement learning, digital twins) and share insights with the teams to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in automation, information engineering, computer science, or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience in AI/ML relevant applications.
- Proficiency in python programming.
- Familiarity with common data mining and machine learning algorithms, as well as mainstream frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch. Candidates with practical experience in AI modeling for industrial, HVAC, or related fields are preferred.
- Knowledge of optimization algorithms such as LP, NLP, and population-based methods, as well as understanding control algorithms like PID and MPC. Candidates with hands-on experience in AI-based control optimization for industrial or HVAC applications are preferred.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A strong willingness to learn and the ability to adapt quickly to new technological developments.
Experience working in agile teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
