Position Overview
The Partner Business Consultant will be accountable for the driving revenue through our top Strategic partners in Brazil. Develop the strategy, plan, and implement the go-to-market and partner sales initiatives to drive growth for Autodesk.
Responsibilities
• Create unique sales strategies and activities to drive new subscription and cloud business
• Develop recommendations to improve partners sales strategies, coverage, capabilities
• Ensure renewal retention and customer success by proactive renewal management
• Develop trusted advisor partner relationships with manager/director/executives and above relationships
• Experience and proven success with creating cross-vendor bundles
• Partner and collaborate with internal Autodesk teams including customer success, field sales and partner marketing.
• Ensure profitability and rebate structure and be able to report on key metrics to partner management
• Identify mutual strategic “plays”; secure executive sponsorship and establish the success criteria which will be used to focus the two organizations on agreed-upon plays
• Knowledge of large customer and reseller purchasing systems
• Lead and drive partner engagement with Autodesk sales organization
• Increase mindshare of Autodesk solutions at partners
• Present Autodesk portfolio and partner program benefits to partner teams
• Engage in quarterly business reviews to recap quarterly sales results and help set focus areas and goals for upcoming quarters
• Familiarity with distributors and understanding of resale business model vs.an agency model
Minimum Qualifications
• 10+ years minimum experience with channel organization
• Experience with large strategic partners in Brazil.
• Proven track record of partner sales leadership, alliances, and ecosystem development with multibillion dollar organizations
• Capability to build multifaceted strategies to attach Autodesk solutions to partner value propositions and improve revenues
• Strong collaboration skills and working in a highly matrixed virtual environment to accomplish your objectives
• Ability to negotiate and understand partner agreements
• Ability and management experience to a small partner team indirectly and hold partner accountable
• Understanding and experience with direct selling, resale models in both commercial and government markets.
• Experience with leveraging value added distribution
• Understanding of large customer procurement requirements and experience with SAAS
• Forecasting and pipeline management experience
• Ability to resolve channel conflict – conflict management skills
• Relationship Management- ability to develop and collaborate with sales, management and director level and above and create alignment
