Job Description We are seeking a Salesforce DevOps Engineer to manage end-to-end DevOps processes across our Salesforce ecosystem. The role involves owning CI/CD pipelines, configuration and release management, environment governance, and implementation of DevOps best practices focused on quality, security, and scalability. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps tooling, automation, version control, branching strategies, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth and reliable releases. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab and Salesforce CLI. • Manage Git-based version control, enforce branching strategies, perform code quality checks, and oversee automated deployments. • Coordinate sandbox refreshes, metadata deployments, and ensure environment consistency across multiple Salesforce orgs. • Integrate Agentic AI tools to recommend deployment optimizations, assess change impact, and support release readiness. • Drive DevOps best practices across teams and support continuous process improvements. • Enhance automation scripts and tooling if required for automation improvement and reliable CI/CD pipelines. • Implement best practices for version control, branching, and release management using SFDX. • Ensure adherence to security standards, including data protection, access management, and vulnerability mitigation. Required Skills • Salesforce CLI • Git & Version Control • CI/CD tools (GitLab, Copado, etc.) • Salesforce Administration & Metadata Management • DevOps best practices (quality, security, automation) • PMD / Code Analyzers • YAML Good-to-Have Skills • Experience deploying and supporting Salesforce applications in a DevOps capacity • Scripting experience (TypeScript, Groovy, Bash) • Experience with Docker • Strong understanding of core DevOps principles and automation frameworks
