Education required: Undergraduate studying a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university, preferably in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Engineering, Computer science or related field in Business

Other requirements: Must be enrolled at a SG university for the duration of your internship and doing a credit-bearing internship

Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English

Internship period: January to June 2025

What will you do?

In this exciting internship, you'll join a diverse and dynamic team of professionals at GSK, a leading company in the BioPharma industry. You'll be responsible for assisting with the planning, execution, and monitoring of a variety of technology and innovation projects that are part of our Alliance and Collaboration consortia in Singapore (PIPS and BioPIPS). You'll also gain valuable insights into the world of innovation portfolio management, learning how to prioritize projects, allocate resources, and track progress towards strategic goals.

What will you learn?

  • Assist CMC Science & Technology leads with planning, scheduling, and dashboarding for technology projects in PIPS and BioPIPS pre-competitive consortia

  • Assist in tracking project progress and identify potential risks and issues

  • Assist in preparing reports and presentations on project status and performance

  • Conduct data analysis and research to support project decision-making

  • Manage project documentation and maintain project files

  • Assist with the development and implementation of project management tools and processes (PowerBI, Aha!)

  • Deliver promotional videos targeted at our Science and Technology communities

  • Participate in portfolio management meetings and contribute to portfolio analysis

  • Learn about innovation and project management frameworks

  • Gain exposure to various technology tools and platforms used in project management

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts both locally in Singapore and in GSK’s global organization

What are we looking for?

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software

  • A passion for technology and a desire to learn new things
