What You Will Do:

  • Support financial reporting/financial statement preparation, tie-points and abnormal balances analysis, fluctuation/trend analysis, and USSGL posting logic research.

  • Prepare support for and create adjusting entries in financial system.

  • Identify and implement process improvements over financial reporting tools and templates in coordination with team lead.

What You Will Need:

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college

  • One (1) year of accounting-related work experience in accounting or financial management.

  • Experience working in teams to produce high-impact work products, reports, and other deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

  • Possesses strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Heightened attention to detail, and the ability to create and edit technical and non-technical written work products and graphical presentations.

  • Ability to view problems from multiple angles and apply a variety of solutions to solving them.

  • Ability to participate in client-facing discussions and meetings.

  • Ability to synthesize information quickly and learn new skill.

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Knowledge of and experience with Federal financial management activities, including but not necessarily limited to: federal accounting, federal financial statement audits and financial risk management.

  • Momentum Financials, SharePoint and Power BI experience preferred.

  • One (1) or more years of specialized experience with Standard General Ledger accounting principles.

  • One (1) or more years with analyzing data, documenting work performed, updating financial statements, and preparing financial reports.

The annual salary range for this position is $71,800.00-$107,600.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
