The Payment Platform supports the marketplace e-commerce for consumers and providers. It is a pillar to accelerate Snowflake’s Marketplace and the core of every monetization product.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to build our new Payment Platform. To be successful in the role, the candidate needs to have significant experience in software engineering and domain expertise in databases and/or payment systems.

AS A SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER, YOU WILL:

  • Drive projects from idea formulation, to design, and to implementation.
  • Build a reliable and scalable Payment Platform leveraging Snowflake technologies.
  • Collaborate with product managers, finance/revenue teams, and other engineering teams to build new features and products for business needs.
  • Identify the improvements in our systems, data models, functional gaps, and design and build the solutions.
  • Provide mentorship to junior engineers.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • 10+ years of software development experience 
  • Extensive and strong development experience in Java and SQL.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in databases and payment systems is a plus.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experience.
