TEMPORARY, HEAP Support Specialist
Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP)
The HEAP Support Specialist plays a vital administrative support role within the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), helping eligible homeowners and renters access heating assistance services. Serving as a combination of Receptionist and Intake Specialist, this position is responsible for managing client interactions, coordinating intake and application processes, maintaining accurate program records, and providing technical and administrative support throughout the delivery of services. The HEAP Support Specialist contributes to The Opportunity Alliance's mission by ensuring efficient program operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting clients from initial contact through receipt of benefits, helping Maine households stay safe and warm during the heating season.
Schedule: This is a full-time, 40-hours/week temporary position. M-F, regular business hours.
Location: South Portland, ME. This position will be fully onsite, in person supporting the office flow.
