What You Will Do:

  • Serve as Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead and Subject Matter Expert for all IPT aerospace test matters
  • Work and coordinate with Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Weapon System Program Offices, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)/Integrators, and USAF Flight Testing Organizations/Agencies to plan developmental and operational test plans
  • Lead development of Test and Evaluation Master Plans (TEMP) and other test-related documentation
  • Evaluate OEM/Integrator contract proposals and activites
  • Coordinate with USAF Flight Test Organizations/Agencies to develop, monitor, and track Statement of Capabilities (SOCs) execution


What You Will Need:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET federal security clearance; or higher
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • SIX (6) or more years work experience in USAF Weapons System/Subsystem Developmental Test & Evaluation (DT&E) activities
  • Knowledge of the USAF DT&E planning process and its implementation in Weapon System/Subsystem acquisition programs
  • Knowledge of the policies, practices, regulations, and laws concerning the USAF Weapon System/Subsystem acquisition management process and initiatives
  • Ability to communicate both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy
  • Ability to establish and maintain good relationships with individuals and groups



What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Ability to plan, organize, lead, and manage critical aspects of research, development, production, and support of Weapons System/Subsystem, and integrate, analyze, and manage a variety of acquisition functions and personnel in the support of the process
  • Knowledge of the missions, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of the DOD, Air Force, and organizations that govern, interface with, and/or influence the Weapon System acquisition process
  • Basic understanding of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process with specific knowledge in Test & Evaluation (T&E) funding
  • Broad knowledge of business, industrial management, contracting procedures, technical concepts, and production practices
