Our HubSpot People team prides itself on our innovative and flexible approach, and we are looking for an exceptional individual to join us in North America to support our most senior leaders in North America, LatAm, and Canada. In this role you will partner with the Sales Vice Presidents for the AMER region. You will provide support on a variety of people related matters including, but not limited to: talent strategy, organizational design, coaching & mentoring, performance management, and conflict resolution - in a way that may not be traditional but embraces our unique culture and solves for our rapid business growth. In this role you will:

  • Seek out and thrive in a culture of high ambiguity and chaos and know how to drive success as priorities shift.
  • Provide strategic business partnership and coaching to senior leaders to positively impact the motivation, development, and retention of talent.
  • Actively identify gaps and deploy impactful people strategies that enable the organization to mitigate risk, perform effectively, and scale efficiently as it grows.
  • Proactively utilize people trends and data to develop, implement, and manage global projects and programs.
  • Provoke positive changes in people management by coaching and encouraging effective feedback loops. 
  • Successfully operate as a People and employment law consultant to the AMER Sales business.
  • Exercise sound and efficient judgment when managing complex decisions, and utilize data and systems to drive decision making.
  • Play a key role in working with leaders on change management and talent management initiatives.
  • Partner very closely with the Sales Operations & Strategy teams. 
  • Enjoy pivoting from strategic problem solving to strategy to strong execution (known to execute brilliantly to get the job done).
  • Positively collaborate across peer groups - specifically, individuals within Recruiting, Culture, Learning and Development and Training, to optimize the acquisition, integration, and development of HubSpot talent and achieve company goals.
  • Collaborate with global People Business Partners to work on global projects.

To excel in this role you will need to have:

  • 5+ years of experience working in a People/Human Resources function within a lean, fast-paced work environment; experience in a global high-growth technology company preferred but not required
  • Experience working across the AMER region
  • Experience partnering with a fast-paced, high volume Sales function
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, and a track record of initiative taking and effective project management
  • Experience with North America, Canada, and LatAm regional employment law 
  • Comfort with high ambiguity and ability to adapt to frequent change and growth
  • Ability to exercise sound and efficient judgment when managing complex decisions
  • Ability to work with a very high level of confidentiality and discretion
  • Effective communication skills and be a natural relationship builder who can collaborate with and influence a variety of work styles and personalities

Cash compensation range: 138500-221600 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
